What an awesome companion! Clever and gung-ho, though occasionally hilariously oblivious, Jo Grant travelled with the Jon Pertwee’s Third Doctor until eventually she left the show in The Green Death, to marry the environmentalist hero and leader of a hippy commune. Interestingly, art and life were heading in the same direction there.
