Shoal of the Winter Harmony

Not entirely unlike the Morpho of Morphoton on Marinus, the Harmony Shoal, as they were also known, were disembodied brains with eyeballs living in jars and manipulating those encumbered by whole bodies. Somehow, they travelled from planet to planet, taking over the indigenous population as they went along.
