Krynoids

Carnivorous alien plant life that spreads across the universe like weeds by dispatching seed pods that infect fleshy beings and gradually turn them into plants themselves. In that regard, Krynoids are not entirely unlike Varga Plants. As seen in the awesome Classic Who serial, ‘The Seeds of Doom’, Krynoids are also able to communicate with, and manipulate, the local, non-intelligent plant life.
