Abby McPhail, Cleo Proctor, and Shawna Thompson with excellent discernment have embarked upon that most noble of endeavours: a Doctor Who podcast, or increasingly Docpast, as Abby’s carefully curated collection of files on the Doctor begins first to corrupt and then to disappear.
These aren’t the only lacunae opening in the Whoniverse, however; Graham and Ryan also go missing, somehow even more missing than when they’re secretly in Finland, Korea, Patagonia, or a volcano. Could Rani Chandra be right, that the Doctor’s killing her past associates?

Hello everyone,
Well it’s been a while since I listed to Dr Who via Audio, so I can’t compare production to another Dr Who audio adventure. I do listen to quite a lot of podcasts, and also audio books,
with many of them simply having a narrator.
So I will compare this adventure ( Production wise ) with the gold standard of audio production: “ The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” . Also by BBC.
And, well…it’s pretty good!
With likeable, entertaining characters, which are very contemporary British ( or Scottish )
The narrative drew me in ( Drew back when I was listening to it…)
Although obviously a Doctor light story, it was funny, creepy, charming and creative.
Madame Vastra makes a welcome reappearance, and Jodie Whitaker was fine in her ( mostly last episode ) role in the story.
I loved the idea of people going missing under suspicious circumstances, and it reminded me of some of the true crime podcasts that I do actually listen to in real life.
The cast in this one I thought did a fantastic job, along with seamless editing of conversations and sound effects, made for a thoroughly enjoyable 3 hours odd story.
Rating: 4.2 Sewer floaters…
