The Doctor finally learns how to heal people and we get one of the greatest cliffhangers of all time

Our heroic protagonists are still at a medieval monastery in the 22nd Century where a band of contractors have been digging for super-potent subterranean acid.

But now The Gangers are after them, and to protect themselves from said gangers, they use and control Rory, a rubbery gloop, fully equipped with memories, emotions and clothing.

And then the mother of all cliffhangers puts the last few episodes in a whole new viewfinder.

Who’s real? Who’s plastic? Don’t worry. The Doctor will tell you.

A Ganger yawns during The Almost People Doctor Who

(This review follows our recorded conversation about N079 The Rebel Flesh.)

Here's what we think of N080 The Almost People

We rate Doctor Who stories on a scale from 0.0 to 5.0. For context, very few are excellent enough to merit a 5.0 in our minds, and we'd take a 0.0 Doctor Who story over a lot of other, non-Whovian stuff out there.
