Our heroic protagonists arrive at a medieval monastery in the 22nd Century where a band of contractors are digging for super-potent subterranean acid.
To protect themselves from said acid, they use and control The Flesh, a rubbery gloop that produces disposable clones, fully equipped with memories, emotions and clothing.
But then the mother of all solar storms tsunamis the monastery and all cells break loose.
