Ahoy and Kablammo!

With our 200th Episode just around the corner, we thought we’d reach out (admittedly at short notice) to you, dear citizens of Podcastland. As we did for our 100th Episode, we’ll be filming this milestone and giving you a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the Who Back When podcast.

Which episodes did we most like to record and why; do we see the show evolving in some way; and will we perhaps have filmed some video shorts for the occasions? All this and more will be tackled in our upcoming video bonanza.

The last time we did one of these, we heard from some of you, and we loved it! You sent us your own video greetings and shared your own views of Doctor Who and the Whoniverse at large. It was great to actually see you spiffing lot! And we’d love to hear from/see you again.

So here’s the dealio: If you’d like to participate in our 200th episode, you can! Simply record video or audio (details on the next page) of yourself comprising:

  1. Up to 2 minutes just to tell us congrats or how much you love and adore us, or even to say why you think we’re the worst people in the history of the world to ever go online.
  2. Answers to the questions further down this document.
  3. Any questions that you may want to ask of us — they don’t even have to be DW/WBW-related! Record up to three Qs and we’ll answer as many as we can.

Depending on runtime, we may end up using the Q/A segments in future clips, but whether you love or hate Who Back When, we can almost guarantee that we’ll include your intros!

How?

It goes without saying that the higher the resolution / audio quality you send in, the better, but please don’t worry too much about it. Filming off a webcam or a phone is good enough.

If you don’t wish you share video of yourself with the world, then feel free to record audio only and send us a representative photo or two of yourself. Then I can still turn it into a still-frame recon à la Loose Cannon Productions. ;-)

Send your recording to us at whobackwhen@gmail.com using WeTransfer or Dropbox, or whatever else you prefer, really.
