The Headhunter returns for an epic double-feature. Metebelis III crystals for everyone!

In this two-parter, Britain is making its latest amateurish attempt at staking a claim on outer space after the failure of Beagle II, when not one but two space probes heading for Mercury go AWOL.

On Earth’s surface, meanwhile, hippie cult ‘The Eightfold Truth’ is spreading across the nation with its mesmerising message and sinister blue crystals.

Lucie Miller wakes up to find the Eighth Doctor already involved in the first thing, so she gets embroiled in the second one.

Have we encountered the blue crystals before? Is there perchance some malevolent, eight-legged alien force running the show? Well, yes.

Here's what we think of A020 The Eight Truths & Worldwide Web

We rate Doctor Who stories on a scale from 0.0 to 5.0. For context, very few are excellent enough to merit a 5.0 in our minds, and we'd take a 0.0 Doctor Who story over a lot of other, non-Whovian stuff out there.
